Nerf Stratohawk Tactical Features: Sling Points and Tactical Rails

The Stratohawk is a semi-automatic, drum fed Nerf gun that’s driven by an acceleration trigger. It was designed to deliver volume and precision and to make you the controlling component on the battlefield.

This Nerf gun is a tactical enthusiasts dream. Four sling points and 5 tactical rails make any number of combinations possible, however, make your choices wisely. Too many accessories can and will effect mobility.

One of the top features a Nerf gun can have is an adjustable shoulder stock. It provides versatility, but more importantly it allows the gun to be compacted down for close corridors.

Loading and Reloading The Accustrike Stratohawk

As you can tell, this is a drum fed Nerf gun. A feature that will give you the upper hand in terms of volume and as long as you have a fresh mag at the ready, you’ll continue to hold your ground. It’s when the drums run dry that you have an issue, but isn’t that true with all Nerf guns.

To reload the StratoHawk, press the mag release located on the backside of the magwell and pull down on the drum. Insert a fresh magazine into the magwell and the gun is ready to go.

The downtime comes when the gun runs out of ammo. This not like a single shot Nerf gun that can be reloaded by picking darts up off the ground. I would recommend having at least 2 drums to keep you in the fight. 25 rounds will go fast through a semi-automatic.

Operating The Fully Automatic Nerf Stratohawk

This is a motorized Nerf gun that uses an acceleration trigger as the priming mechanism. The button is located just below the trigger and will need to be held down while the gun is being fired.

Fresh batteries are the most important factor in keeping the Stratohawk at peek performance. Batteries with a low charge will cause your shots to drop off and fall short of max range.

I recommend short, controlled bursts to keep the gun on target and maintain shot consistency.

Accustrike Nerf Darts: Primary Ammunition

The StratoHawk comes packaged with Accustrike Nerf darts, however, it is compatible with all styles of N-Strike ammo. Moreover, I would recommend shooting different types of ammo through this gun to see what works best for your play style. Each person is unique so don’t be afraid to do your own testing.

If you have an additional drum magazines, try loading each one with a different style of Nerf dart. The difference in shot patterns might not be significant but small adjustments do add up.
