Raptor-Slash Tactical Features

The Raptor-Slash is a single fire Nerf gun that has a 6 round capacity and uses a slide-action primer as a priming mechanism. The gun has a compact design and is best used under high mobility conditions. It has a smooth cycle and is capable of producing fast bursts of firepower, however, an exit strategy will be necessary in order to maintain. Moreover, the Raptor is well equip to handle stealth missions.

There are no tactical rails or sling point locations found on the Raptor-Slash, although I don’t believe it takes away from the Nerf guns performance.

How to Reload The Raptor-Slash

The Raptor-Slash uses an open face rotating cylinder as a feed mechanism. The advantage to this can be found in the reduced time it takes to load the darts into the gun. However, there’s a small setback that comes with having to manually rotate the drum to access all the slots. It will add some additional time to the evolution that can only be sped up with practice. Furthermore, open face drums also make it possible to quick load a single dart if necessary.

How to Operate The Raptor-Slash

The Raptor-Slash uses a slide-action primer that’s capable of delivering two modes of fire, single fire and slam-fire. Once the gun is fully loaded pull back on the priming slide and than return it to the forward position. This will cycle the gun one time and put it in the ready position to fire a single shot. Moreover, this method will result in a lower rate of fire but will achieve a more precise shot.

Access Slam-Fire Mode For Increased ROF

To increase the rate of fire, continue to hold down the trigger while cycling the priming slide. Each priming cycle will fire a shot in succession, however, it will effect the accuracy of the Nerf gun in a negative way.

Elite Style Nerf Darts: Preferred Raptor-Slash Ammo

The blaster is compatible with all Elite style Nerf darts and the ones that come with the DinoSquad series have been modified with a new color scheme unique to the series. Moreover, Elite darts are extremely easy to find and do come in a variety of styles.

Furthermore, the Raptor-Slash uses a 6 round rotating drum which is the same system that’s used on the Commander RD-6 in the Elite 2.0 series and is considered to be a reliable delivery system.
