NERF DOOMLANDS HOLDOUT TACTICAL FEATURES

The Holdout is a pistol style Nerf gun that has a 1 round capacity and a single fire mode of delivery. This makes it the lowest capacity blaster in the Doomlands series, although it makes up for this setback with an increased reload speed. Also, it uses a pull handle primer as a priming mechanism which does lower the rate of fire, however it does have a nice ergonomic feel and is positioned in such a way as to maximize cycle speed. Moreover, the size and weight of the Nerf gun will give it an increased mobility rating.

NERF GUN ACCESSORY MOUNT LOCATIONS

There are no sling point locations available on the Holdout. However, there’s a tactical rail located on the top of the blaster that comes equipped with a scope. The scope is removable, although it does add some depth to a very basic Nerf gun.

HOW TO RELOAD THE NERF HOLDOUT

This is a front load Nerf gun which allows darts to be loaded directly into the barrel of the gun. This process is fluid and doesn’t require a lot of effort which gives the Holdout an increased reload speed rating. Also worth noting is the additional on-board ammo storage that’s hidden on the scope. It will allow for 2 additional rounds, although it’s recommended to find a means for holding more ammo.

HOW TO OPERATE THE NERF HOLDOUT

The Doomlands Holdout uses a pull handle as a priming mechanism. This handle is located on the back of the blaster and will need to be primed before each shot. To operate the Holdout, pull back on this handle until it stops. This will prime the blaster to fire a single round. Moreover, this evolution makes the Holdout the easiest Nerf gun in the Doomlands series to operate but it does come at the cost of a lower rate of fire.
