Siege-50 Tactical Features & Information
SIEGE-50 Tactical Features
The Siege-50 has two tactical rails that will accommodate any number of Rival style accessories. The most commonly used accessory however is the refill canisters which were designed specifically for Hyper Nerf guns and do have a practical purpose.
There is an integrated iron sight located in front of the top tactical rail, although I didn’t find it too useful considering this is a pump-action Nerf gun without a shoulder stock. This is a preference of mine and is certainly open to criticism.
Hyper Sling Points
There are 3 possible sling points to consider. The first is on the front of the blaster right above the muzzle and can also be used as a carrying handle. Another one is located on the bottom of the grip right behind the bottom tactical rail and the last one is located on the back of the Nerf gun right behind the hopper system.
The last one that was mentioned on the back of the Nerf gun seems to be the most useful if you plan to use the Siege-50 as a secondary weapon. This will allow the gun to hang by your side, however, this application is more suitable for someone who doesn’t plan on moving around a lot.
Mechanical Features
In the rare case the gun happens to malfunction, there are two anti-jam windows located on either side of the blaster.
THE SIEGE-50 INTEGRATED HOPPER SYSTEM
The Hyper Siege-50 uses an integrated hopper system that has a 50 round capacity which I feel is a adequate for any fully automatic arsenal. The wonderful thing about these blasters is that no how much ammo you pour into this gun, it doesn’t add a significant amount to the overall weight.
Loading and reloading can be time consuming if you’re not using one of the refill canisters or something similar in design. I would recommend buying at least one refill canister. They are a time saver and worth the investment. Loading/reloading by hand can become daunting.
OPERATING THE SIEGE-50
Overall this is not a complicated gun to work with. Up to 50 rounds can be loaded into the hopper. Remember, this is a self agitating hopper so packing the Hyper rounds to tightly into the hopper can cause feeding issues.
Once the blaster is fully loaded the it’s ready to operate. Pump the primer back fully and then forward to cycle the gun once. Pull the trigger to fire a round. Each cycle will fire a single round.
The Siege-50 in Slam-Fire mode
To put the gun into Slam-Fire mode all you need to do is hold down the trigger while priming (pumping) the gun. As long as you keep the trigger suppressed the Siege will fire as fast as you’re able to cycle the primer.
Siege-50 Ammo (Hyper Rounds)
The Siege-50 uses Hyper rounds. Not to be mistaken with the all to familiar Rival round that are used with all other Rival series blasters. Hyper Rounds are different from the ammunition found amongst the other Rival families. They are similar in texture but are much small in size and are manufactured out of plastic instead of the foam we’re all used to.
Please keep in mind that Hyper blasters take a specific type of ammunition. Hyper rounds are NOT interchangeable with Rival rounds or blasters.

The Nerf Hyper Siege-50 is a tactical pump-action blaster that’s capable of performing as either a primary or secondary arsenal. It brings to life what all close corridor combat enthusiast love, Pump-Action. The blaster is well balanced and has a great ergonomic feel which is important because this gun features a Slam-Fire mode. It’s fed by a 50 round integrated magazine that will self agitate with each priming pump.
It’s not often you find a Pump-Action blaster that can deliver this level of fire power without the additional bulk of a drum magazine.
