The Nailbiter is a semi-automatic Nerf gun that has an 8 round capacity. The gun offers a unique dual action delivery system that alleviates the need for priming while maintaining a consistent shot cycle. It’s larger in size, however, a single hand approach is still a viable option. Furthermore, this a themed blaster and that should be taken into consideration in order to fully appreciate the complete package.
NERF NAILBITER SLING POINTS & TACTICAL RAILS
There is one usable sling point that’s located on the bottom of the grip that will accommodate a single point sling. You will also find a tactical rail just below the magazine, however, I did not find much use for it due to lack of options. Furthermore, the gun may not have an abundance of tactical rails but there are a number of accessories that were designed specifically for this Nerf gun found at the bottom of this page.
The Nailbiter has an integrated magazine that uses an indexing method which is far from common. The design is unique to the Nailbiter, however, there are other Nerf guns that use indexing systems, such as the ThunderHawk. This style of magazine typically has a faster reload speed, although, it does limit you to only one usable magazine due to its integrated design. Moreover, the mag can be manually pulled up to expose the entire clip for easier reloading. Once the mag is full it can be pushed back down to the ready position.
The Nailbiter only has one mode of delivery, semi-automatic. The Nerf gun is capable of higher rates of fire, although, it does have a longer trigger pull which will effect response time.
Zombie Strike Nerf darts is the ammo of choice. These darts are compatible with all Nerf guns that will shoot N-Strike darts. In addition to this the Nailbiter is shoot any type of N-Strike dart.
