DOOMLANDS LONGARM TACTICAL FEATURES

The Longarm is a single fire Nerf gun that uses a slide-action primer and has a 5 round capacity. It’s a straight forward blaster that’s capable of filling either a primary or backup role. The gun has a slower cycle speed which does put the rate of fire on the lower end, however, the gun has a good mobility rating due to its compact design. I didn’t find the lack of tactical features to be an issue nor was I disappointed. Furthermore, you will find some tactical milling on the priming slide, along with the front grip area below the cylinder. This will allow for a better grip of both areas.

LONGARM TACTICAL MOUNTING POINTS

The Longarm does not offer a sling point location, although, I would recommend a holster if you’re able to locate a suitable option. Especially if you plan to use this gun as a backup to a primary weapon. There’s one tactical rail on the top front portion of the Nerf gun that will accommodate a scope or any N-Strike accessories you deem worthy of putting there. I found the gun to perform well as is although you might see something I missed.

RELOADING THE DOOMLANDS LONGARM

The Longarm uses a 5 round rotating cylinder/drum that has a flip-open feature to allow for easy access. The button is found on the left side of the Nerf gun and will contribute to a faster reload time. Moreover, the cylinder has an open face design which will also shave off a few seconds. Once the drum has been flipped out and loaded, push it back to it’s original configuration to fire.

OPERATING THIS IMPACT ZONE NERF GUN

The Longarm is easy to operate as most slide-action Nerf guns are. Pull the priming slide that’s located on the top portion of the gun back and than return it to the forward position. This will cycle the blaster one time and put it in the ready position. Pull the trigger to fire a single round.

THE LONGARM SHOOTS ELITE NERF DARTS

doomlands 2169 nerf darts The Longarm comes with Elite style Nerf darts that are white in color to correlate with the frozen theme of the series. Doomlands 2169 darts are available, however, the gun will shoot any type of N-Strike dart.
