Nerf Hyper Mach-100 Tactical Features: Accessory Mount Locations

The Mach-100 is a motorized Nerf gun with an automatic mode of delivery. The gun is driven by an automated flywheel system and fed by an integrated hopper that’s capable of maintaining high rates of fire. Furthermore, the gun is larger in size with most of the weight to the front due to the power supply, therefore it may feel slightly off balanced. In addition to these features the stock will give a firm placement against the shoulder to allow for better shot consistency, although it shouldn’t affect the mobility rating.

Also, located on the front of the gun is a flip up iron sight that will prove to be an asset to anyone who takes a point of view approach or uses muscle memory as a primary method of targeting.

There are two tactical rails found on the Mach-100. The first is located on top of the gun just above the barrel and the other is found on the rail below the grip frame. Both rails will accommodate Rival style accessories, however, they were primarily designed to hold reload canisters. By doing so it will increase the onboard ammo capacity of the Nerf gun. Additionally, there are places to attach a sling, although it might take some creativity.

How to Reload The Mach-100 Integrated Hopper System

Located on the top of the Nerf gun is the mouth of the hopper where the Hyper rounds will be loaded. Inside the hopper is an automated built-in conveyor system that will rotate and force the ammo into the breech. Therefore, it’s reliant on a good power source to ensure it’s working smoothly. Also, The hopper is integrated into the design of the gun and is not able to be removed.

Additionally, the Mach has a small hopper opening that can be an issue, therefore I would consider using reload canisters to help minimize frustrations and speed things up. The new hoppers found on the Evolve-100 and Impulse-40 have a spring open design which has a larger opening and seems to have fixed this issues.

How to Operate The Hyper Mach-100

The Mach is a fully-automatic Nerf gun that uses a flywheel system as a priming source. The flywheels are activated by pressing and holding down an acceleration button that’s located just below the primary trigger. Also, you won’t be left guessing as to whether or not you’re doing something wrong because the acceleration can be heard in real time. Although, there’s a slight delay needed to allow the flywheels time to reach full speed.

Mach-100 Hyper-Rounds: Primary Ammo

The Mach-100 is compatible with Nerf Hyper-Rounds. These rounds are smaller in diameter and were design differently from the High-Impact rounds found in the Rival series. In addition to this they’re made from a different material which is rubbery in texture instead of the harder foam.
