CONTRACTOR TACTICAL FEATURES

The Contractor is a pump-action Nerf gun with a high mobility rating that excels in close corridor combat. This is partly due to the compact design of the baster and its burst fire potential. The gun is fed by an 8 round rotating cylinder and offers two modes of delivery, single fire and slam-fire.

ANIMATED LIGHTS & SOUNDS

Power Shock Nerf guns come with animated features that when activated will make it seem as though electrical currents are flowing uncontrollably through the gun, therefore adding to the uniqueness of the series.

CONTRACTOR ACCESSORY MOUNTING POINTS

One tactical rail can be found on the top of the Contractor that will accommodate N-Strike accessories such as a scope. Also, there are a number of spots to attach a sling, however, it’s not recommended due to placement issues.

RELOADING THE POWER SHOCK CONTRACTOR

The Contractor is fed by an open face rotating cylinder with an 8 round capacity. As the gun is cycled this drum will automatically rotate to the next available shot and the process will repeat until all ammo is exhausted. To reload the Nerf gun you will need to manually put darts back into the drum one dart at a time. This process tends to take a bit longer than a simple mag swap, therefore this type of blaster will have a slower reload speed, however, practice can speed it up to a certain degree.

One advantage to having this type of system is you’re able to reload at will and do not need to wait for the Nerf gun to run completely dry of ammo. A brief lull is all that’s needed to reload a couple of empty slots.

HOW TO OPERATE THE CONTRACTOR

To fire a single round from the Contractor, pull the front grip back towards the main handle and then return it to the forward position. This will cycle the priming pump to fire a single shot. Moreover, it will also deliver a lower rate of fire, however the shots will be more consistent.

HOW TO USE SLAM-FIRE MODE

Slam-Fire mode is perfect when you need to fire more than one shot quickly. To achieve this continue suppressing the primary trigger while you cycle the Nerf gun. A shot will fire with each priming pump, however, this process will give you less control over the gun. Therefore, accuracy is typically the tradeoff.

ZOMBIE STRIKE NERF DARTS

The Contractor comes packaged with Zombie Strike Nerf darts which are compatible with all N-Strike Elite systems, clips and drums. The performance is on par with expectations and durability is typically not an issue under normal use, however, like all consumables they will wear out over time. Therefore, acquiring additional ammo is always recommended.

THE CAPACITY OF THE POWER SHOCK CONTRACTOR

This Nerf gun has an 8 round capacity which is considered average for this style of blaster.
