Nerf Ultra Darts
Range 120 Ft. (36M)
Nerf Ultra is a series of tactical blasters that ushered in a new style of Nerf darts. More to come
THESE NERF GUNS HAVE AN INCREASED RANGE
This series claims to have a range of up to 120 ft. and although we want nothing more than for this to be true, it’s a bit of a stretch. Now, my intentions are not to divert your attention away from this series, however, I do want honesty and truth to prevail here. In short, to achieve this with any sort of consistency you would need a strong wind at your back, preferably hurricane force.
ULTRA BLASTERS HAS AMMO TO INCREASED ACCURACY
Accuracy is a feature of the Ultra series that does stand out and this holds increasingly true when you’re shooting AccuStrike Ultra darts. Short of this it will be hard to achieve the level of accuracy you’re hoping for.
SELECT
A unique concept to say the least. The Nerf Ultra Select offers two mags at the ready and the ammo you select is entirely up to you. It has a fully automatic delivery system that’s driven by a motorized acceleration trigger. This Nerf gun has an average cycle time with an balanced ergonomic feel which enhances its mobility attributes.

FOCUS
The Nerf Ultra Focus is for those who’d like a more controlled approach. This semi-automatic Nerf gun is fed by a 10 round mag with an on-board storage for one more, giving it an increased reload speed. The tactical sight is functional, however, the tint of the plastic does obscure view some.

NERF ULTRA AMP
The compact feel and lightweight design gives the Ultra AMP the edge in close corridor combat. It’s fed by a 6 round mag and will only support a semi-automatic mode of fire. The low ammo capacity does affect overall volume, however, the difference is made up with increased mobility.
Additionally, the clip system is interchangeable if you choose to switch to a higher volume 10 round mag. The mobility difference is subtle and the additional round are nice.

SPEED
The Nerf Ultra Speed is a fully automatic Nerf gun that’s powered by a motorized acceleration trigger. The fed system is a 12 round clip, with the option to have one on standby. This Nerf gun will cycle fast and claims to have a 7 dps (darts per second) rate of firing, making it the fastest shooting Nerf gun in the family.
Additionally, this blaster has a unique color scheme that no other Nerf gun in this series offers. This is a weapon that is truly set apart.

STRIKE
The Nerf Ultra Strike is a motorized, semi-automatic Nerf gun that’s driven by an acceleration trigger and a 10 round mag. This blaster will also accommodate an additional clip within the stock which increases overall volume. The integrated sighting system is functional, however, it’s better used at close range.
This is not a compact Nerf gun and is considered to be on the larger end of the spectrum which will affect the mobility of some people.

SIMILAR ATTRIBUTES BETWEEN THESE TWO NERF GUNS
Both of These Nerf guns will offer the same tactical attributes and for obvious reasons, it’s the same gun, although, there is a couple small distinctions that set them apart. The visual elements being the most obvious of the two and the other is the ammunition.
These blasters have a quick access rotating drum that’s accessible from the back of the gun as opposed to the front load system found on most drum fed Nerf guns. The advantage to this is line of sight and with practice could increase reload speed.
THE NERF DARTS SET THESE BLASTERS APART
In addition to the visuals, the other feature that sets these two Nerf guns apart is their ammunition. The Dorado will come packaged with the original AccuStrike Nerf darts, while the Scream Machine comes with the Sonic-Screamers.

ULTRA NERF DARTS & ACCESSORIES
ULTRA NERF DARTS
This ammo is sort of the first generation of Ultra Nerf darts and arguably the most commonly used. They’re very similar in shape to the Sonic-Screamer, although, no whistling sounds will accompany each shot.
ACCUSTRIKE NERF DARTS
These Nerf darts were developed with an emphasis on accuracy. The body of the dart is similar with other Ultra darts, however, the tips have been squared off changing the performance.
SONIC-SCREAMERS
The Sonic-Screamers are very similar in design to the original Ultra Nerf darts with one key distinctions, the tip. These darts have a modified tip which makes a whistling sound when fired.
The 2 Versions of The Ultra One Motorized Blaster
SIMILAR FEATURES FOUND IN THESE TWO ULTRA ONES
The Ultra One is a motorized blaster that’s fed by a 25 round rotating drum and if I had to be completely honest, looks very similar to a futuristic “Tommy Gun”. Semi-Automatic is your only mode of delivery and I found it to have an average cycle speed.
The compact design and centralized battery location produces a balanced weapon that will give you increased mobility, however, it does have a timely reload evolution that will require practice.
FEATURES THAT SET THESE NERF GUNS APART
Both of these Nerf guns are set apart by visual elements and ammunition. Outside of this, these blasters will perform the same. The visual elements may be different, however, it’s hard to say which is the upgrade because it’s preference. I happen to be fond of the blue.
The ammunition, although different, is interchangeable and not isolated to just one Nerf gun. The original version of the Ultra One comes with Ultra Nerf darts and the Ultra One Screamer comes with Sonic-Screamer darts.
Every Pistol in The Nerf Ultra Series
Each of these handguns have their advantages and disadvantages, however, all of them are capable of performing as either a primary or secondary weapon. These pistols are also able to shoot any of the Ultra Nerf darts to suit your performance needs.
The Ultra Series Has a Sniper Rife Nerf Gun
THE PHARAOH
The Pharaoh is a bolt-action Nerf gun that has all the markings of a sniper rifle. It has a single fire delivery system and a slower than average cycle time. This Nerf gun is not designed for high volume advancements but may find value in the hands of the patient.
Additionally, the scope is a nice addition, however, it adds more curb appeal than functional use. I would recommend using your instincts and muscle memory to acquire a more accurate shot.
